Our Wedding

Rachel and Devin's story started in the middle of the pandemic, when everything felt a bit uncertain, but their connection was anything but. Both from quaint little New England towns, they crossed paths at just the right time by swiping right, thanks to bumble, and it didn’t take long for them to realize they were meant to be. With their two pups, Eli and Nutella, in tow, they've made memories all over the place, hiking the mountains and trails of New England, soaking up the Florida sunshine, and now settling into the wide open ranches of Texas. Each new chapter has been a fun adventure, full of laughter, love, and the occasional road trip snack (for the dogs, of course). From the start, their bond has been grounded in exploration, joy, and a shared love for the life they’re building together. Now, surrounded by family and friends, they're ready to kick off the biggest adventure of all, marriage.

The best airport to come into for the wedding is DFW international airport and get a rental car from this location. The rental car building is by a quick shuttle that can be accessed from the airport ground transportation level. It hosts all companies of rental cars. The wedding location is an 1.5-2 hr drive from the airport location through the scenic farm landscape of west Texas.

This will be the primary accommodation spot that we recommend for guests, the ranch is 2 miles distance from the venue. It hosts 16 hotel rooms in the main building and luxury 16 cabins on the grounds for an organic texas experience overlooking the hills. We kindly ask guests to dress in formal or cocktail attire, think polished and celebratory. Suits, jumpsuits, mid to long dresses, and dressy separates are all lovely choices. Please feel free in the texas upscale western flare to add cowboy/cowgirl boots and formal felt cowboy hats if it suits your style. To help us keep the focus on the couple (and ensure the photos look cohesive), we ask that guests avoid wearing: White, ivory, champagne, tan, beige, or anything in the white/tan spectrum; Neons, bright reds, or hot pinks; Loud prints or patterns that might distract in photos; Casual wear, including jeans, sneakers, or anything too informal for an evening celebration. We want everyone to feel confident and comfortable while honoring the tone of the day. If you’re unsure about your outfit, feel free to reach out to the bride, we’re happy to help and so excited to celebrate with you!

The wildcatter ranch hosts a variety of guests to enjoy.-Enjoying the infinity pool and hot tubs in the comfort of the property. If you want to get more immersed in the Texas spirit the ranch also has the following activities right on site:-Hiking in the extensive trails through the texas hills.-Horseback riding at 9:30 am for 90 mins, or at 11 am for 60 mins; and 4:15 or 6:30 pn sunset rides. Saddle up and enjoy the country views and unleash your inner cowboys and cowgirls.-Clay Shooting at 1:30 pm or 2:45 pm.-Archery &amp; Tomahawk and Spear Range at 2:45 pm.-Roping at 12 pm.-Branding at 9am - brand leather coasters for yours to keep-Feed the longhorns at 9 am.-Jeep tours at 1:30 pm.

If anyone comes in a day or two early to enjoy the Texas area we recommend heading over to the Fort Worth Stockyard area for a true western flare. Every week you can find at the worlds only year round rodeo Thurs-Sun right in the stockyards a good time at the cowtown colosseum. Other things in the area to do are walk around and check out the shops, the good food, and live music continuously at the local bars.
